E-volution awards, organized by Marketing Week and Boussias Comminications in cooperation with ELTRUN, were here for yet another year, to reward the companies with the best practices in e-commerce and entrepreneurship! The prize-giving ceremony took place on December 12th, in Athenaum InterContinental Athens. And as you may have already guessed, we were also present, and of course, nominated!
Our team was quite big and… representative! Some people came all the way from the headquarters (Crete), some from Athens, who work with us remotely (yes, we do have remote co-workers), and some from abroad (because our network knows no borders!). We all together sat in Enartia Group’s round table, we had some fun catching up, and at around 8pm Panagiotis Hadjidakis, host of the ceremony, finally greeted us. After a while, the President of the Awards Judging Committee Mr. George Doukidis announced that this year’s participation was at an all time high, and the Judging Committee had more members than ever in the history of the event.
We were quiet anxious to see what would happen with our nomination in the Best in B2B category, which we have submitted together with our sibling Papaki, under the umbrella of Enartia Group. And… the moment came. We heard that we were the winners, got up to the stage and received our Gold award, for the huge variety of solutions that we provide to every company which wishes to have an online presence! Regarding TopHost, our exclusive hosting plans, our reseller hosting service, our awarded support team, and of course our speed in all of the above, gave us the chance to stand out!
Frank Maounis, President and Co-Founder of Enartia, after his big thank-you to everybody, declared on stage: «This award belongs to more than 70 people, and their culture. I am sure that this will give us the strength and the motivation to keep trying to offer more value to our clients».
As the night went on, many Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards were given to all the teams who do their best to enhance the Greek e-commerce. Papaki went up to the stage again, to receive a Bronze award, this time for WooCommerce, in the category of Infrastructure Services!
We should note that, for the first time in the 8 years of the event, a new award was introduced, the Platinum. It was given to the nominees which collected the highest mean score from the Judging Committee, among all the other winners in each category! 5 Platinum Awards were given in total. Sleed and Cosmos Sport won the first 2, and the other 3 were given to cosmoONE, Papastratos – IQOS, and AEGEAN. A little before the end of the event, ATCOM company was awarded as the E-Commerce Agency of the Year and Aegeanair.com as the Best Greek e-shop by GRECA, which will represent Greece in the European E-Commerce Awards!
We would like to congratulate all winners, as well as participants, who strive for the best, even if they did not win any award this time! Our awards motivate us to become even better every day! See you next year!
